I want to say Damn.....nice stuff.
Just got in these for a customer, this is the Mega monolithic upper (mid length) and a billet lower, the fit and finish on these is the best I have seen yet, and the packaging was damn fine too.
this is going to be one sharp rifle when he is done.

That looks really nice.  How much was the upper, if you don't mind?

I have that lower. It is beautiful; the BEST machining I have EVER seen on a lower. Flawless.

The fit looks great but the finish seems off between the upper and lower.  It could be the camera angle though.

cost is 584.00 plus tax or shipping.

yes, I will post some additional pics this weekend.
finish matches though.

Here are pics of the 3 builds done this weekend by my customers.
1st one here is a monolithic rail upper, mega billet lower, MAGPUL BUS, MAID grip, Stock and CCA foregrip/light holder.

Next one is standard forged upper and lower, MAGPUL stock, MOE grip, BUS and foreend, foregrip.

and lastly is the Mega Monolithihc upper, Billet lower, Mega trigger (at about 2 1/2lbs), MAGPUL BUS, and stock

you should see that the colors match better here.
and variance is due to oil.

Need smaller pics to judge.

Edit: Okay that's better. Nice looking rifles!

I've got one of their receivers on one of my rifles.  Absolutely magnificent fit and finish.

Tried to  buy more of them a couple years ago but I just couldn't find any.  Nice to see them back in action.

Was there a reason for the hiatus?

Not sure, but they have really expanded and dedicated a section of their business to fire arms. and accessories, everything from triggers to a piston conversion.
availability is still an issue, it took me almost 3 months to get these monolithic s.

I've never really looked into the monoliths, how do you get a barrel in there?  Is it a special barrel/extention?

Mabey I missed it but how long is the rail please.

The Monolithic comes with a custom barrel nut and wrench. use whatever barrel you want.

Anybody know what the length of the handguards are? Looked all over mega's page and didn't list the length. I have a Noveske 18" SPR barrel with switchblock and it says that handguards must be 11" or less.

Wow, that is very impressive Mega!

At least Mega builds their own stuff and just does not slap a logo on the side like other 'top tier' brands.
