I've got a relative (sister-in-law) that was just talking about using them.... Anyone ever dealt with them? Good. Bad.?
Figured I'd check with the hive... |
| Check out www.prosper.com too. I loaned out $200 to some guy a few years ago, and he ended up paying it back in full @ 17% interest, iirc. But now, there are states (like Texas) where they are not allowed to do business in. Not sure about Florida. |

Im a Mortgage Broker in Fl who is currently on the Lending Tree network. Have been using Lending Tree as a lead source for aroung 7 years. The big downside to using LT is that she will get flooded with phone calls and emails from Loan Originators trying to get her business. Alot of my clients expressed to me that this was very irritating. Also, a lot of the lenders that purchase leads from them will pull her credit so inquires on her report can go up. Even with these problems its still a good source for information. Tell her to try and do business with a lender who is local to her and find out if they have a local office that she could visit and see the person shes intrusting with her mortgage. Hopefully its me.. |
