Foster Harrington was killed in Sep 2004. He was a paramedic and firefighter in civilian life. He was a very patriotic, friendly and hardworking guy. He was very poplular at work and respected for his skill and work ethic as well as his congenial personality.
I worked with him in the emergency dept. We had a common friend and thus spent time together. I remember well wrestling with him at a BBQ and never being able to get the best of him despite being much heavier.
I remember laughing with him as he showed me his preferred CCW mode which was a t-shirt with a mesh holster under the arm. Nothing strange there except that he had a full size sig p220 jammed in their under his scrubs!!.
I have visited his grave a couple of times. I will run over there today or tommorrow.

It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died. Rather we should thank God that such men lived. — General George S. Patton

Green sods are all their monuments; and yet it tells
A nobler history than pillared piles,
Or the eternal pyramids.
