Where can I get flags that don't fray within a couple months?  The wind is pretty much constant here and our flags don't last 2 months.  I'd like to find somewhere that makes a flag that would last at least 6 mos.  Nylon doesn't seem to hold up to the constant sucking of Kansas and the blowing of South Dakota.

The ones you order from your Senators/Reps are pretty good quality.

I saw some American flags in a store last year that had a small tag on them that said "Made in Vietnam."

That was a real "What The Fuck?" moment for me.

I think nylon is about as good as it gets.

Believe it or not, Target carries a very nice flag, embroidered stars, quad stitching on the fly end, etc.  Made in USA.

Get them from the VFW online store.  These are tough Annin flags that are MADE IN AMERICA!

Annin.  That's who made the flag I got at Target, thanks.

Nothing wrong with supporting the VFW, either.

Annin & Co's website also lists local sellers if you prefer to buy local instead of ordering online.
