Rush's first album was a real killer. "Working Man" at concert volume is one of my all-time favorites. It's one of the FEW times you'll hear me and my truck coming down the street. After that, IMO, it all went downhill. "2112" was pretty good. All the rest, you can have. I won't be the dude buying their last concert ticket in line in front of you. Have at it. |

I do not have a favorite one, I like most of them.
It all depends on my mood. I love the oldies, but can jam to the new stuff also. I scored near front row tickets to this years concert, getting more stoked by the minute. My wife is even fired up, she bought her own copy of moving pictures to get ready for the concert! Tonight I think I'll be watching my Snakes and Arrows BluRay. |

Quoted: The Spirit of Radio is what got me hook. If you really, really want to hear an awesome Rush song, listen to "Countdown" (it's about the space shuttle Columbia before it was destroyed). But you have to listen to it loud, I mean really, really loud. Awesome. Off the Signals album. That is the dog and fire hydrant cover art. |

Rush is on regular rotation on my mp3 player. I have some live bootlegs? from 74-75? that are really good.
I have several vinyl albums that survived the "Stoned Age" of the 70's Rush 2112 Hemispheres Caress of Steel All the Worlds a Stage Permanent Waves Moving Pictures Saw them live in 1977. Excellent show. 38 Special opened. Lot's of teenage debauchery and intoxication ensued. But I'm off topic. I was one of the first people in Eugenestan (Don't ask. It's an Oregon thing) to get a copy of "Rush". I cut a "deal" with the owner of the local store to get the album before the doors opened. |
