Alrighty. This is probably a stupid question. But if the AR10 carbine buffer is 5.4 oz, and the 9mm buffer is 5.6 oz, why not just buy the 9mm buffer and save $80? They are the same length and since the buffer tube is the same diamter I've got to assume the buffer face is the same diameter.

I think my AR10 buffer is about twice as long as a 9MM buffer.

I need to go look.

Psshh. If that's the case, Steve, just duct tape some PVC Piping on it and you'll be gtg.

Twice as long? Is it an AR10 carbine buffer? Of the "use in a AR15 buffer tube" variety?

It is the factory AR10 Carbine buffer from Armalite.

Ah. I was trying to compare to the Slash buffer. Thanks for the intel though man, appreciate it.
