Last week the left eye was in similar condition but not as bad and healed in a few days. Allergies have been pretty bad alot of sneezing and runny nose while nose being clogged. Sneezing happens but nose is clogged half the time so pressure goes out nose and is felt in eyes. It hurts to have eyes open,closed or to blink. Upper eyelid is in alot of pain and is filled with fluid. Blurry vision, right eye waters alot. Pain center in upper eyelid right of center but not all the way right. Around eye is alot of water with some mucus looking water in there. I know it would be best to go to the doctor but i have no insurance because of loss of job and no money because of loss of job. Going to store first thing in morning to get pink eye/anti-bacterial eyedrops. Please let me know what this is and/or how to treat it. Thank You SS ETA:: In before dibbs/zombies |

You look like you have conjunctivitis (Pinkeye is a form of conjunctivitis... usually viral). It could be your allergies, but if that were the case, I'd expect it to be the other eye too... allergies tend to effect both eyes... as does viral Pinkeye. That upper lid almost looks like you've got the beginnings of a sty. If you've been rubbing that eye, quit it.

Don't see the pics, but this would be my guess as well based on the description. I had conjunctivitis once and it was strange. Didn't fit the standard texbook symptoms, but the opthamologist said that is what it was. |
