Not bad
This is ten shots at 100 yrds, off of a bipod, the two flyers are my fault my eyes are not that great anymore. The ammo is Federal Prem Match which is too expensive for me to buy again and yes, I still missed the Dime.

Ten rounds into 1 1/2 inches is pretty damn good.

That is 1 1/2 MOA... which is what a Weatherby rifle is guaranteed to do, out of the box.

I blame the vertical stringing on the fact that I was resting the pistol grip on my wrist.  I think if I'd used a sand sock or something, it would have been smaller.

Very nice!

1.5" with a 10-shot group and off a bipod is almost exactly what I could do consistently with good ammo.  Every once in a while, some of the groups would edge closer to 1', but the average for a bunch of groups in a day was probably about 1.5"

I like to see that I am in good company.

It's a barrel made by a now-defunct company called Ko-Tonics, later Cardinal Armory, which was pivotal in developing the 6.8 spec II chamber and testing twist rates.
Mine is 18" and stainless.

Could be the ammo

Rule of thumb , horizontal stringing is wind , vertical is uneven loads ( powder volume , neck tension , OAL , etc ) .....usually from automated ammo production and powder measurement .

And try resting the heal of your butt stock (instead of your pistol grip) on your weak hand next time .

OP, you got one of the bbls that would actually shoot, mine was a piece of shit. 18" Stainless KT68 built by them. Sent it back and he lapped the bbl or something, made no improvement. Least accurate AR15/AR10 I have owned out of 40+ in 20 years.

Good luck with it, hope it keeps shootin for ya

I have a KT18 inch that will hold that same pattern.   My targets and pig/deer kills used to be up on the Ko-Tonics website.

I have been very happy with my barrel.
