[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Credit Report

So I'm going through the process of enlisting into the Army, and the recruiter tells me I need to get a credit report done. I have no idea how to do this. Can anyone assist?

I don't even think anything will come up for me.

it allows you access to each of the 3 credit bureaus every 12 months for free

to see your score, you have to pay

it is also NOT one that requires you to sign up for anything to get it for free

So even if it doesn't give me my score, it will still be sufficient for their purposes?

Why the fuck does the recruiter need a copy of your credit report?

Even if your MOS requires a clearance, the vetting isn't handled by the recruiter...
