I've got a math final in a couple hours, and I can't figure out how to use my calculator. Flame me later, but I need help now.

I've got a  Texas Instruments TI-84 Plus Silver, and I can't figure out how to change one of the setting on it.  According to the
manual, I'm supposed to have a setting that is not showing up. Of course, that's the one I need.

I'm needing answers in fractions, roots, etc and not decimals.

Can anyone in Arfland help?

Isn't it some thing like mode or math then dec>frac after each answer. It has been a few years since i used an 84.

Thanks Matt. I'll see what I can do.

I swear I'm too old for this stuff.

Ah, nothing like attending a math test and forgetting you left your calculator in rads after a physics class. Always good for a couple of confused moments.

Never made it past the TI-83 here.  Don't have it with me or I'd see if the T-1000 model could help me shed any light.

I like your style though.  "Fuck practice problems, my studying for the final is reading the device manual."  BTDT, to be sure.

I think I've figured out enough to make it through the test.

I officially dub this method of test taking "Arfcom Style"
