Anyone ever eat at a Guthries? Back in the late 90's, they were awesome. I ate at one maybe 5 years ago and it seemed that their quality had gone down a bit, but it was still good. Or maybe I just remembered it being better b/c I was young and in college partying and eating it at 3:00am. I actually used to be friends of the Guthries when they first started to expand into Florida.
The reason I thought of Guthries is b/c I was at the mall yesterday and at at a new place called Chicken Now. They basically stole the exact concept of Guthries. Everything tasted exactly the same too, right down to their 'special' sauce. I'm sure that there has to be some connection. |

Used to eat there all the time at Auburn... When I lived in Columbus and found they had one...I had to limit myself ;) |

Quoted: Guthrie's/Zaxby's/Raisin' Cane all taste the same to me, which is good because I like chicken tenders. Is Raisin Cane the one in LA? Read an article on them last year some time...they acted like the idea of chicken tenders, bread, fries and slaw was their original idea...rather funny. All I could think of was Guthrie's. http://www.cdkitchen.com/recipes/recs/77/Guthries_Dipping_Sauce47873.shtml |
