Ok I ordered something from bestbuy, i returned it, and got a refund a week or two ago.

Now i saw i had extra cash so i spent it, and I was looking over my monthly statement and it appears they gave me the money back twice.

I have not contacted them yet, but i dont have the money right now to return to them, and im afraid they are going to automatically pull it out and im oing to get hit with overdraft charges. Im sure they still have my card number.

So can they charge me for that money back without telling/asking?

If they find that they over-credited you - yes.  In any case - the double credit isn't your money.

Yes they can take it back without telling you and, no, it isn't your money anyway.  They will find out about it and I strongly suggest finding some way of getting that money back in there for them.  It is situations like this that prove the importance of keeping a reconciled account ledger.

Just to be curious, but what bank is "cloased" at 1600EST on a Tuesday?

better not spend money that isnt yours.  i predict many overdraft fees.  worst case scenario bank sends anton sugar to get its money back.

Yes they will take the money back. Sometimes it takes a little while though.

Sears did this to me one time and argued with me when I told them they fucked up. I couldn't make them take back their money.

Rush to Walmart and buy a pressure washer with the excess funds and you are back to even
