I need to find a picture that I looked at last night on my computer with Firefox. Would it be saved in temp internet files or something?
The file I'm looking for was deleted and I can't seem to find it...any help?

Also you could do a search for image files on your computer. You'll get a lot of results, but you might find it.

Right-click on any image on this page and go to Save Image As. Wherever it wants to save the pic, that's where it saved the last one.

I didn't save it last night. I should have but didn't. My default save address is the Desktop

Thanks, that worked, the file wasn't there, apparently my cache was cleared.

Were you running Firefox from a pen drive (such as an Ikey)? If so, there is a separate desktop within the drive.

You can try here too,C:\Documents and Settings\"username"\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files, but not sure if Firefox Temp files go here, might only be explorer files. Wont hurt to look. Just sort by type and go through any jpg, bmp, or gif files.
