If you're a traffic cop and don't believe that most of you are assholes then guess what...YOU are probably the asshole that we all bitch about!
I just got home from driving my girlfriend to school to find a p.o.s. traffic cop had someone pulled over blocking my driveway. No big deal right? I pull up and start to get out of my car to ask him to pull forward so I can get into my garage. The girl he had pulled over had her window down and asked me if she was in my way. I told her that I just needed to get into my driveway (since now the entire street is blocked). I only needed 5 ft to squeeze through so she pulls forward before I can go talk to the cop. Now there is just enough of a gap for me to squeeze through so I head back to my car. Still no big deal right? Oh fuck NO! Johnny Law has to come flying out of his cruiser yelling to never interfere with him again. He kept running on and on about it being a safety violation and how I just endangered his life and bullshit.  We are in a residential neighborhood and here he is trying to berate me like a fucking child for trying to get into my driveway while the entire road is blocked. Apparently I was just supposed to hold up traffic waiting for him to finish saving the streets from the dangerous speeders. He keeps saying "you just endangered my life, you understand son"? Finally I had enough and said, frankly no I don't. So he threatens to write me for obstructing justice. I told him to go ahead and I'd see him in court. He turned around and went back to finish collecting his revenue for the morning and I pulled into my garage.
Cops pay attention! You are not GOD, if you want to be a power-tripping asshole then we'll continue to treat you as such. I know...c.s.b. |

| What you fail to understand is that cops dont know you or the person he has pulled over. They could have a warrant for a killing spree and be waiting to kill that cop as he comes to the door, but the cop wont know it until they run their DL. Hell you could have some issue with authority and want to go up and kill that cop. YOU blocked the whole street, YOU made it a safety issue, you could have just drove around for 5 mins and not have been a jerk. |
