Mrs. Dash, cayenne pepper, fresh ground black pepper,  chopped ham/roast beef, sliced green olives.

Any/all of the above depending on what I have on hand.   But I won't eat it plain.  Has to at least have some black pepper and cayenne pepper on it.

Green onions, tomatoes, S&P

In the summer when it's ridiculously hot here this becomes one of my favorite lunches. I eat it with potato chips as a dip.

Oh, My mom used to make a kinda avocado dip with it. She would blend up avocados with some lime juice I think to mix in with the cottage cheese and then add green chilies and some S&P.  I'm not completely sure but I should ask her for the recipe, I liked it.

A little black pepper.  I never knew so many other people liked pepper on it until I read this thread!

And no low-fat cottage cheese for me anymore.  It's crap compared to the real stuff.

Also, I prefer small curd but large is fine too.

I've never been able to eat it with fruit. When my parents were separated when I was a kid my dad used to make dinner for us (my mom went to stay with her sister in WA) and he would always force me to eat it with fruit, I could never figure why he wouldn't just let me eat it separate. I would have been happy with cottage cheese with S&P, and some canned peaches or pears by themselves, in fact I would have loved that, but instead he would insist that I eat them together and he would make me sit there till I ate it, watching me gag while I did (It gave me a bad gag reflex, I don't know why).

I should try it now that I'm older, but it's hard to get passed that bullshit from when I was a kid.

Put it pasta. It melts up ok. Not the lowfat stuff though. Cottage cheese garlic and olive oil. Or mixed in with tomato sauce. It has a lot of protein, I put it in a lot of hot dishes to boost the protein. Like on top of microwave burritos and such.

Great on tomatoes and great with pineapple.  Sprinkle some black pepper on the CC when using as a topping for tomatoes...WOW!

Great stuff!
