That makes me sick too, and I've only drvien through your state.

So, what is his current hatred fixated on today?

Baby guns, or big daddy guns?

I'm honestly thinking of voting for Blagojavich, since he at least has taken a stance on the FOID issue...

What we need is a last ditch campaign for O'Malley as a "write in" candidate!

Ohhh, my Ulcer.... We are in a world of hurt.

What kind of idiots do we actually have in this state to vote for BOTH these crooks!

Jim Ryan - entrapment of gun purchasers as Illinois Attorney General:

Blagovech - his daddy was in a Nazi concentration camp, you think he would know better. He's not against legimate "hunting".. Get a clue Rod!

Yes, as "gun owners", we are in a world of hurt with either of these two jokers.

Chicago, you've got Chicago![:D]

The fudermucking king of Illinois is starting to think that Indiana should be a "Chicago suburb" too!
I have to pay IL, AND IN tax!

Relax.

This Corrupt, Fat, Lying Drunken Irishman we've had as Governor for the last 4 years was just as anti-2nd Amendment as these 2 morons who just won the Primary and he couldn't get squat passed against guns during his 4 years of nonsense.

The State Congress in Springfield has enough pro-gun members to keep even the likes of a Blagoiavich from passing his favorite "gun control" legislation.

I voted for O'Mally, but come on, did you really think anyone BUT Jim Ryan was going to win for the Republicans?

Bowser: The Chicago Democratic machine is pretty big. Dems usually have better attedance records at the polls too. It wouldn't take much to turn this state into the next CA.

Call me stupid (many do), but I thought O'malley was gonna take it. He had huge support here in Adams co., & probably in the other "rural" counties as well. When I heard Ryan won, I damn near soiled me trousers.

Thank you once again Chicago!
Must be something in the water up there.....

What a revoltin' development- I dunno- which is worse- MA or IL? In both states, the Dems and Reps are interchangeable. Both suck!!!

We are likely in MA to get Mitt Romney as the next Rep. gov. The Dem. candidates are all big time tax and spend liberals, disgusting anybody outside of the Boston area. But, like Ryan in IL,  no real friend of RKBA is Mitt either, despite Mitt having grown up in Utah and being a Mormon.....

O'Malley got a lot of votes. He did not have a lot to spend on Radio and TV. I did see a lot of signs, even in my area, which is Cook County.

Very little press, very little anything.  I hope Ryan sees that there is lots of support for CCW and such in Illinois.

Why the frick do the damn Democrats go and vote but the Republicans are sitting at home!?!?!

1,235,252 Democrats voted in the primary for Governor.

896,454 Republicans voted in the primary for Governor.

If this were the real thing, the Dems would have won, just because more of them showed up!

Why does the Republican Party bitch and moan when they can't get their members out to vote?!

I hope most people at this site vote where ever they live, so I preaching to the choir, but I'm just pissed!

Bowser - Gov. G. Ryan actually did get something positive through... but totally by accident, I'm sure.  The "Safe Neighborhoods Act" rewrite of the firearms laws gave Illinois de facto Concealed Carry... just not loaded.  Has to be totally encased, unloaded, and carrier must have valid FOID.  That's it. No locked-in-the-trunk crap or any of that.  So one fannypack to completely encase the pistol, a full magazine in your pocket, a valid FOID, and you're six seconds from effectively defending yourself.

Now, if we could only get REAL CCW here where a loaded weapon is okay, that would be something.  'Course, we won't get it in the next four years, unless the pro-gun crowd supports Ryan and lets him know exactly why he is getting their vote.  There won't be any split on the Democrats' side - if everyone else pulls together, we can keep Blow-whatever out.  He should be fairly easy to ridicule in political ads.

Just remember, though, .50 cal. BMG's are the preferred weapon of terrorist snipers on top of the Sears or Hancock towers...

Oh well, Ottawa opens April 1st...

Man, I feel for you guys. I moved from the Peoples Socialist Republik of Kook County 11 years ago. Isn't Blag the "pocket rocket" dude?
Tough choice you've got, come election time. Entrapment dude or pocket rocket. Sheesh!!! From what I saw of Ill politics, Blag will be your next Gov. Buy em now, cuz after Nov., they'll be banned.

BTW, I've got my "old" FOID card hanging in the pole barn...it's got a real nice .452" diameter hole, dead center.

Hey there's lots of room up north for more gun guys... we'll have CCW long before you will.
