So I'm sitting here 20 minutes ago reading through some threads when a late night hunger spell hits me. Only because I'm too lazy tonight to go cook something up, I decided to run up to Taco Bell for a 3-pack of tacos. I'm next in line to place my order when I notice the dirtbag in the red Taurus ahead of me open her door to place her order (obviously the automatic window was broken or they just got a fresh tint), and tosses out a couple handfuls of trash along with a 32-oz Gatorade bottle, right there in the middle of the drive thru. Then they proceed to drive right over the trash with her rear wheel, crushing the bottle, to go pay and get her food. I waited until this black chick opened her car door to get her food before I leaned out my window and said "Hey, go pick that shit up!". I knew she wasn't gonna pick it up, but I was glad that at least she knew someone saw her do it.
Worst thing... Taco Bell has one of those long necked trash cans right after you pull out of the drive through. Times like this I wish I had a dash-cam to hold people like this accountable. /rant |

uh do you have a cell phone ? with a camera ? yeah, but I wasn't quick enough to deploy it when the actual dumping occured. By the time I picked it up and pressed the camera button, the trash was already all over the ground and she had closed her door. When I said something to her, she gave me this look like "Who, Me?" Like WTF? |

A very long time ago, when I did manual labor we were cleaning up an area that was located next to low income housing. There were used diapers everywhere. The animals that lived in the projects literally threw the used diapers out the window when then changed them. Half the time they didn't even bother to ball them up.

Here in TN littering seems to be a local sport, chief means of passing time, a right of passage, and cherished father and son activity. I've never seen more crap thrown out windows than here. ![]() I'm in Carter Co. and unfortunately I couldn't agree more. I've traveled a lot and other places are not like this. |

-1 for no soiled diaper left. That is the CA benchmark for littering. Yeah I worked at Toys R Us for a summer after high school. We used to have to do diaper pickup in the parking lot. Fucking low life parents would change their kids diaper in the parking lot and then throw it out the fucking window. A diaper full of green shit smells great in the Texas sun. |

Texas actually has a website where you can report litter bugs. Not much comes out of it other than the state mails the person a bag to put there trash in and I think a pamphlet about littering.
http://www.dontmesswithtexas.org/report-a-litterer.php I've used the site a few times. I kind of feel like a douche for reporting people but oh well. |

I've had a few altercations over the years with scum like that.Every one of them has picked their shit up ('course they may have thrown it out again somewhere else, but maybe I opened their eyes).
Quite a few years back,I was out in the yard (in the country) and a car drives by and they throw a small bag of garbage out as they go by.No fucking care since I am outside.Well,I knew the vehicle and where they lived a couple miles away.I gathered it up,went to their house, and stuffed it all in the front door between the outside door and the storm door.Fuck them.Never heard shit about it. I would have gone up to her car and told her to pick the shit up.But then again,I'm getting a lot grumpier the older I get and don't put up with as much stupid shit anymore,so ymmv.I'm about a step away from making headlines some days ;) |

What would be nice is... if you burdened the cost of purchasing a dash-cam and caught people like that, after you provide the evidence to the state/county, they could apply part of the resulting fine towards reimbursing you for the dash-cam. Just a thought. |
