very free, no hand gun registration, all NFA items are ok including machine guns and carry permits are shall issue.

Well, there's a quasi AWB in Denver, other than that, it's pretty damn free. OC is a-ok!

West Virginia is pretty cool. Not many opportunities but if you don't need any it's awesome.

ETA: There is a lot of poor black/white trash that leech. I just enjoy my life as much as possible, it seems to be working so far.

In terms of personal freedom, gun rights, we're pretty set up here.

A little too much federal involvment in land, fish and subsistence though.

California. George Mason University ranked us 47th (that's 3rd worst) in their index of states by personal and economic freedom.

We're still better than NY, NJ, and Maryland (blech).

The only problems I really have with WI are the mill rates, the lack of CCW, and the lack of open carry in a vehicle (DNR law, not anti gun law.)

No Vermont-style concealed carry.
Have an income tax.
Politics dominated by 'come-heres' (mostly coal money)

NFA CCW friendly, just pushed a "Firearms Freedom Act" through too I believe.

Liquor laws and Taxes leave something to be desired when compared to MO.

However, Alaska
does extremely well on personal freedom, scoring 1st
on our ranking. Reasons for its score include: fully
legalized possession of small amounts of marijuana
(accomplished through a court ruling), the best (least
restrictive) gun laws in the country

All NFA goodies are GTG, shall issue CCW. No state registration of any types of firearms.

I wish we'd do like TN and do away with income tax and go to state sales tax only for revenue.

The state .gov is to addicted to the federal tit to suit me. This will likely come around to bite us at some point.

A lot of counties are dry. Doesn't matter to me personally since I don't drink, but it the principle of the thing.

I really want a suppressed SBR.

Hopefully, AG Cox will get around to writing that letter. I doubt it though since he probably thinks it will hurt his chances at governor. He should've just included the suppressors and SBRs with his MG opinion, since it was part of the same law anyhow.
