Yes, I know this is GD, so fire away with any snarky remarks you please.  Have fun, it doesn't bother me.

Now to the root of my problem.  I need to buy a new Windows 7 PC (No Apple) frankly I'm stunned and confused at the dizzying array of processors available.  It seems they all MIGHT work for what I want, but I don't want to pay waaaaay too much, I just need good enough.

What I need it to do.

Run Adobe CS4 Web Premium, primarily using Dreamweaver, Flash, and Photoshop. I need it to do these well. I don't need it to be the very best. (i5 processor and 8MB ram?) processors are my biggest source of confusion.

I need wireless, preferably N.

I need at least 750 GB HDD.

No monitor needed MAYBE, I have an older Apple Cinema Display 22" Polymer not aluminum, that should work IF the video card has HDMI output, I can get an HDMI - DVI-D adapter.  Please if this will not work let me know and I will need to get a monitor.

I do not play games on PCs. The reason I don't want an Apple is that I don't want to overpay for hardware, I have a PowerMac G5 dual right now that I use for Photoshop CS2 and It's very flaky and no I won't pay to fix it, it's old, worth next to nothing, and it is annoying as hell. I need a reliable PC that I can fix when needed, with hardware that doesn't require a co-signer to buy.

These are my basic needs, and I know there are some real experts here who can help me with this. I want Good, not AWESOME, and I need to find it for under $700 without a monitor as long as the one I have will work.

Who's my hero?
