| Sitting here handloading. 308s, and I noticed some of the brass is 2.000 rather than the "trim to length " recommendation of 2.005. Cause for concern? I know too long can cause higher pressure. |

.005 = 5 thousandths of an inch Really............how big is that? And, at what point do you have to get it, for you to be "satisfied?" And, what about the measurement itself..........I mean, are you sure your measuring instrument is accurate enough? Bottom line............ME, I wouldn't worry about .005" in this case. It's not like you're building an ICBM. Aloha, Mark PS.............too long is a bad thing............too short and you run some other risks (like the bullet not being held by the neck with enough tension).
