If it's brown drink it down, if it's black send it back.

They worked on the water line somewhere.  Let it run until it clears up.

Are you having having rain and flooding?

Either way, time to avoid the water or filter / boil or other means to purify. Or break into your stored water. You do have water stored for such an occassion, right?

Just called a neighbor and found out that a main broke. I have plenty of bottled water but i wish i had larger amounts to refill toilets. Yeah it has been raining and melting here for the last week.

Run it for 20 minutes or so out of your cold water bathtub faucet.  If you for whatever reason you use a different faucet, some of the dirt and whatever will plug the filters and they are a pain in the ass to clean out.

FYI - there is no filter on your bathtub tap.

So, just to be clear....

You "drive" a Cessna and you are having problems using brown water to flush the toilet. Are you and the dog sharing the same "water bowl"?

Water is back on, everything is clear again except for the toilets. Still have a lot of shit in those lines.
