We really need to exterminate the wolves.  They've made elk all but extinct in Idaho, and they are spreading.

Manage - yes

Exterminate - no

IMO

I'd love for them to be moved to your state.  Mine doesn't want them.

I agree.

Management, including State licensed hunting and bag limits for wolves, is a good measure in controlling the population. And property owners have the right to defend their property, livelihoods, and people (family, friends, etc) from wolves.

But outright extermination is a questionable solution.

So far, there has been ZERO management of them.  Which was promised when they wanted to reintroduce them.  Now they are far out of control.  KILL EM ALL!!!!

ETA:  we'll let some live.  If we don't see them, they'll live.

You are welcome to as many as you can take back to your state.  The biggest issue comes down to:  We don't want them in this state.  Most of those who want them in our state, don't have them in their state.  Please, come and take some home with you.  They make great pets!  I swear!  They don't attack humans!  Promise!

(if you believe that last couple sentences, I've got some moon property to sell you, dirt cheap)

Well 73% have the right idea.

After what happened to the teacher last week up here, I'm no longer passive as to wolves, when I see one, he's going down.

I don't give a shit what anyone has to say about it either.

Well there were plenty of predators everywhere that managed populations themselves.

By the way I thought Obama was against anything to do with hunting and sportsmen.  I mean conservation groups suing the Obama administration?? has the world gone mad?? is palin really the president??.

I don't have a horse in this race since I live PA, but the varmint hunters who live in those states say they can really damage the big game populations as well as livestock. You had better keep a real close eye on your young children if you know a pack is local. The wolves are bold around humans since they haven't felt any real hunting pressure yet. I think if I had a ranch there maybe I would just shoot some big feral 'dogs' and follow the 3S rule.
