I got a job!
I got the official call this morning, and the paperwork is on it's way. Actually I told them that the offer was a bit light but I will consider it. They called back a while later and offered more money. So the paperwork is on its way, I just need to sign it and fax it back. But...... I also have another job that I'm just waiting for the background check to clear. (Since I passed the background check on the first job this should be a go as well) This one should also be more money, so we will see. Then to top it off My old company called with a position (Um, Thanks but no thanks) So after hearing nothing for months I finally got a job! To those still looking, don't loose hope, I'll be praying for you. And to those who prayed for me Thank You! |

dude, you got balls. Anyway, congratulations. Actually that is my nickname "Balls" I walked in to one employer and told them I wanted a 7,000 raise. This was right after I took a week off of vacation to send myself through a class for a certification. The owner said come back in an hour, I did and got the raise. |

I have never had to do it myself and when I did get layed off I resorted to getting a less paying job though not by much less. However thats not what your here about and major congratulations on the job and wish you the best of luck.

He told me that he got to the point where he lost his confidence. Its scary though. If I didn't have my parents, I'd be out on the streets. |

Make sure you give them a hug :) My next door neighbor came over to help me get my daughters car un-stuck from the snow, while he was over we got talking and he has not seen a paycheck in 2 months. I started praying for him (getting my mind off of my problems) and next thing ya know I had offers flowing in. Makes you wonder, did I have to look beyond me?????? |
