Personally I'm not a big fan of the front sight setup on the 6940, and you can get free-float and an almost monolithic rail setup from people like Daniel Defense. I'd rather have the 6920 than the 6940.

Don't Kill the Messenger here, but if you register for Botach Defense they have them for $1335 as a member and $1395 non member.

You may not get it for three months, but they do sell them.

ETA: 6920 is $1100 as well

The folding front sight is a big difference...one I don't care for. I prefer the standard fixed front sight...but I'm a guy who believes in co-witnessed optics and all that jazz.

Thought about one in that price range, but figured that I'd be better off with $200 bucks in my pocket to spend on things to hang off of the rails. Plus, waiting for another specialty, one-of tool in order to change the barrel just doesn't sit right with me. Went with the Daniel defense M4 carbine with the 12 inch rail instead.
