So tomorrow morning I'm on a plane to Vegas for a few days.
What is worth my time? I don't gamble much but I want to sight see, eat steaks, and take in some good drinking. So ARFCOM, what do? |

There is so much to do in Vegas. Just to walk around and see all the casinos and the shops takes days. I could spend all day just walking up and down the strip and drink beer.
Hoover Dam is cool, too. Lots of good shopping there as well. Your pocketbook is pretty much the limit in Vegas. Make sure, I have to stress this, MAKE SURE you go to see downtown. IMO that is the real experience. Plus gambling and drinks are much cheaper down there. I love downtown. |

If you end up going, look for John from New York (one of the RSO's), tell him Josh and Derek from California say hi. I cannot say enough about these people. John pulls me aside and he goes, 'I know you guys in CA have ammo problems, so anytime you come out and want to shoot, call me. I'm sitting on XXXX amount of rounds, and I will get you hooked up real nice." He then gave me a price that blew my mind on the caliber I shoot. |

We have a Hofbrauhaus in Pittsburgh, so I've been! It is good. Downtown Las Vegas is definitely on the to-do list for sure. I was certainly thinking about seeing Blue Man Group. Money at the present is not really an issue, so definitely looking for a good time. We have a few local places lined up, like the Double Down Saloon for one. |

Seriously it is worth the trip out there. When I went we had a rental car.... The thing is awesome and the fact that they did it WELL ahead of schedule and well UNDER budget is amazing as well.... I think we would fail at this today..... |

If you do drive out to the dam -and you should- and see a old drive-in burger joint turned into a taco shop called "Pistol Pete's" stop there. Real tacos, and cheap. |
