I have a suppresed 10/22. the suppressor is built into the rifle.it looks like a bull barrel. it has a serial number and is registered to the rifle. with all that said my question is as follows. could i purchase a new barrel with a (screw on suppresor) that is welded or pinned to that barrel. it would have the same serial number stamped into it ? The reason for this is i would like to have at least a 16" barrel. the barrel i have now is about 11". the over all length is 20". i will thank you guys in advance for your help. i know my spelling and grammar is horrible and i am sorry for that. thanks again

Isn't that an SBR then? You're saying it's a registered SBR with a can?
ETA: Or do you mean the barrel OAL is 20"?
ETA2: Nevermind, I can't read tonight.

You might get some more/better answers if you post this in the Class 3 section of the Armory.

No, the new suppressor would have its own SN because it exists, it was made and serialized.

you may however be able to get a new barrel and modify the new barrel to fit the integral suppressor from your 11" barrel,  it has to come apart some how.

If it is welded or does not come apart at all you are SOL and the new barrel would need a new suppressor.

Another option may be to get the 16 inch barrel, turn threads 1/2x28 on the end of it and then cut the 11" barrel behind the actual suppressor portion, tap 1/2 x28 and screw it on the new barrel. integrals are typically serialized to the receiver though. You may have to check the legalities there.
