So my buddy calls and thinks his girl is cheatting. He is wanting to find out how. I tell him Im not sure and I ask some folks. So what say you?
Anyone ever use the car tracker devices. He lets her drive his truck. |

a rather vague statement, needs more details.
If he wants a good litmus test, tell him to grab her phone or ask to borrow it. If someone is cheating, they will flip the fuck out or ask you nervously why you need to borrow their phone. You dont even have to rummage around and violate any privacy. Unless they are stupid, they will have already gone through and deleted everything, but the mere thought of "Oh I hope I deleted so-and-so's txt, email, number, etc" will cause quite a noticable stirr. Big unexpected changes in her life (spontaneously new hair style/color are huge life-changing signs) or her behavior are also key smoke signals. |

If his gut is telling him that something is going on then something is probably going on. If she is very protective of her cellphone and is always deleting all of her messages then that is another indicator. You can tell if she is doing this without even looking at her phone. Just have him text her something important and then the next day ask her about it. If she says "oh I deleted all my texts" then that is a big red flag right there. The best thing for him to do is put a key logger on all computers. Just warn him that he may wish he never saw what was really going on. He can always check up on her. If she says she is going somewhere have him drive by to see if she really isn't there. If she isn't then he needs to call her. If her cellphone is off because her "battery died" then something might be going on. If she answer have him ask a question about something he needs then have him ask about the activity she said she was going to. If he just verified her vehicle wasn't there but she just told him a story about how they are all there and doing fine then he knows to eject. Trying to tail a car by yourself is very difficult to do without getting made. All it takes is one car and a light to turn red and you've lost them. All the above is from personal experience.  GPS trackers are great but expensive. A lot work off batteries which run down. They also need to be somewhere some what exposed to get a good signal. Also if you are going to go this far then you need to get the ones that have a real time website/map reporting. You'll pay about $400 for the device and $50 a month for service. Depending on what type of cellphone and service she has there is an application from Google that will track her location. The problem is you have to install it on her phone without her noticing and the phone needs to be able to connect to the internet to update its location. I hate cheaters. The hell I went through with my ex-wife has left me pretty messed up still. I should have kicked her to the curb immediately after I found out she was lying and what she was really up to. I should have known she was lying all along. Stupid me wanted solid proof, other than the initial proof I never really got anything else solid. I also wanted to try and work on things. It takes two to make things work. So if your friend has a feeling in his gut and she isn't willing to work on things, then tell him to just get out. Don't let him torture himself by "trying to do the right thing" for a year. |
