Im courious. does any one know a formula that will calculate flight time of a bullet. I have been having a friendly debate with a friend over flight time  over long distances.   What say you.

The integral of velocity over the distance.  You need to know the initial velocity, the ballistic coefficient of the bullet and the atmospheric conditions.

Which translates into get some software that you can put your chrony results in and it will give you flight time.

Print it out, and you have it.

Have fun with it
