Why are jeans still made with watch pockets? Does anyone use them for anything today? They're always the last part to dry in the dryer...little bastard watch pockets. I hate them. |

Back when I smoked, it was the perfect place to keep a Zippo. +1 - beat me to it Only problem I had with this was it caused a rash from the petrol fumes Use the pocket now for small stuff that would get lost/mixed-up in the main pocket: certain coins, sometimes keys, pins, bullets, etc. I always buy jeans WITH the watch pocket as I fond them so useful - plus strong too as they're not in a high wear part of the jeans |

I think they are mostly for baggies of pills, meth or small amounts of marijuana these days. Back to being called Obama pockets. LOL |

I carry my pocket watch in mine. At one time, I carried a pocket watch. Even then it went in the regular pocket attached to a watch chain. Even after they went to all the trouble of putting a special pocket there for you? Ingrate. They're just trying to tell me what to do. I am not a sheep. |

I wore the ol' shreddies on the outside of the pants all last week for the same reason. Anyone that gave me the stink eye got an immediate "baaaaaaa." |

I carry my pocket watch in mine. I was wondering if anyone was going to say this at all! I use it for what it's intended to be used for. I still occasionally carry a pocket watch. If I don't, it's usually empty or has a small knife or flashlight in it. My watch pockets tend to be a little big on the jeans I buy. |

Really good PM9/LCP/Beretta 21/Seecamp/Baby Browning/etc. spare mag holder for lefties. That's not a completely obscure use, but I can't imagine that left-handed mouse gun carriers are a huge part of the jeans buying market. ![]() I'm right handed, but my favorite little skull popper (BUG of course) rides in my left front pocket. Watch pocket is a great place for a spare mag. |
Fuck tweekers are stupid.
