Meh. Another power grab ploy of the left to try to get the sheeple scared and give up more freedom.  That's exactly what it sounds like. They mention that the govt should be able to make you update your computer or do it remotely if they think you could be vulnerable to viruses. WTF. They seem to pussy foot around the topic of how do you retaliate or do you at all. One panel member compared retaliating to a crippling attack to attacking the Gulf of Mexico for hurricanes hitting the U.S. In the end, to me it seemed like a PR campaign to show that the Obama administration is ready to protect us all, and they can do a better job if they are given more power when they deem it necessary to use it. |
