| So I got a new Bushmaster a month or two ago, with the A3 handle. Now, when I was in, I remember the elevation knob being able to go down to 1, but the one I have now has the lowest as 3. Is there an A3 handle out there that goes down to 1? |

IIRC, a removable handle only goes down to 3 because things had to be reconfigured to account for the extra hardware in between the sight and the bore axis. The rail, then the clamp being underneath means that you can't depress the rear sight without making the material underneath too thin to be rugged.
ETA: I remembered wrong. Removable Handle sights are marked 6/3 vs 8/3 on fixed. A2 sights also had 0-2 on a separate apeture. Is that why they don't go below 3? Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Fair enough. It certainly is annoying though.
Another thing, if I get an aimpoint like I have for my M1A, I'll need some type of spacer to put it up higher, will I not? Otherwise it'll be too low to look threw comfortably and won't see over the front site post. What is a good mount for this? |
