I can update my signature and give myself a title but it doesn't display in a post.

Posts now save your information at the time of posting. There will no longer be name changes allowed (extreme special cases only) and our data is going to be richer with each post to be able to provide extended services with Archive and more!!!

I notice that I get that problem if my signature is too long; the minimum length is now shorter than it used to be.

You just don't get the error message. No biggie.
