Site security cert says it has expired. If I change my calendar date on my PC it works. This is only on ARL. Chrome is browser. NET:ERR_CERT_DATE_INVALID |
|
Which site? Is the time zone on the PC correct? What does the drop down box for the certificate say? (Click on the lock symbol and it should allow you to look at the certificate.) 99% of the time, it's fucked up timing on the computer that causes that. Chances are, it's you. It COULD be the cert, if so, don't worry about it too much an expired certificate does not stop encrypting the traffic. It just means the site should re-certify they are who they say they are with a registrar. It's completely artificial and not really all that important. |

Quoted:
The ARL cert expired on the 25th of February. Goatboy just needs to get an updated cert uploaded on the server. I backdated my PC to the 25th and it worked for a day, now not. I can post, but can't start a new thread. HTTPS is x'd out and I get security warnings. Someone needs to feed the squirrel. |

I have been around computers since Wozniak rolled the first Apple out of Job's garage and have written code for Atari computers, so I may seem a bit snappy at some dilettante telling me that this is my fault. |

Chrome and it is up to date. AR15 dot com works fine, but I NEEEEEEED ARL at work to keep me conscious. ![]()
I mentioned this the first time I made a new thread here, but then it zapped away and didn't accept my post due to the cert issue. No, I won't try a different browser. |
