[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Accessing ar15.com from Verizon Internet

Hey is anyone else having issues accessing ar15.com from Verizon's home Internet service? I'm currently on my phone through AT&T and accessing just fine. However when I try to go to www.ar15.com from Verizon' ISP network the browser times out. I can access any other website, just not ar15.com. I'm wondering if either Verizon or ar-15.com's service provider is blocking or filtering? Thanks!

try typing

209.251.48.101

in the url area.

I had Verizon FIOS for 8 years in Flower Mound, Tx. (DFW area) and never had a problem. They DO NOT filter or block access to ar15.com.

Yeah even the up address times out in the browser. Funny I can resolve DNS but can't access the website on 80 or 443! Thanks for the ideas!

same issue here with verizon. only way in from home is through american research.

you guys try typing in the ip address? if it works then the dns server is messed up. just change your dns to googles.

Gents,

I'm able to access as of this morning. I'm not sure what's changed but I did log a ticket with Verizon on the issue. Interesting thing is, I was able to go through multiple, free web proxies yesterday but still could not get in by domain name or ip address. Grn06rubi, are you able to get in?
