First, BRAVO for all the effort and hard work. Second. I like the slick new look. All in all, GREAT JOB. Here's my issue. The lack of SEARCH, MY ACTIVE TOPICS and MY TOPICS capability is having a great impact on the functionality of my use of AR15.com. The thing that AMAZED me about this site was that nearly every question I had already had a well written and detailed answer. I went from AR newbie to AR old hand in a few months. I would just SEARCH for the answer and BAM!, there 's the answer. Or I'd post a detailed question and some AR member (with too much time on his hands..lol) would respond. When do you folks estimate these features will be back? Sorry if this question has been asked before. Hep |
Tonight the new router was finished up and the photo server was rebuilt. (New box, nothing special!) Both should go in tomorrow... If things go well, I will spend the weekend working on another batch of fixes as well as bringing a few things online like search/active/etc. I haven't decided just which ones yet, but who knows how productive I'll be...

Nope not yet... we were planning on installing a live cam in there, but it's not going to happen anytime soon. If I had brought my camera with me I'd take a pic... but I'm heading there for lunch to get stuff done and I have no camera. Plus it's still a little messy with all the equipment swapping we've had to do...

If I had a camera with me I would have taken a pic. I cleaned up most of the cabling mess after getting the new equipment into the rack. We've filled it completely now, so more servers will require a second rack now. (Actually room for a 1U server left! heehee) Besides you dont want to see the poor hamsters which are responsible for making the site run...
