Did you take the vaccine? (Page 2 of 3)

| Fuck no I didn't but I have sincere sympathy for those that had to get it to retain their livelihood. I am blessed with an employer that is mostly based but if that wasn't the case, I was looking for a job when I found this one. That's easy for me to say though as I don't have a family of my own. |

I got the initial jab and a booster or 2, can’t remember, based upon the advice of my doctor and consulting with my 2 BIL doctors and my wife and sister who are both nurses. Sister worked in the ICU caring for Covid patients in fact. I had suffered a minor stroke in Jan of 2021 while working out. Had been terribly sick with something respiratory for most of November and the initial part of December and started feeling better. None of testing and labs could tell me why I had a stroke…there were no issues with any blood work, any scans, and my heart was healthy, no ideas. With that said, with Covid, they didn’t know what would happen if I got it, assuming I didn’t have before which was why I was so sick. Anyway, got the Pfizer jab and booster. Didn’t really want to and decided to not get another one as I wasn’t ever totally comfortable with it. Never got sick, didn’t have any complications. ![]() |
I can’t stand it to think my life is going so fast and I’m not really living it.
| Yes, because a friend of mine and I had a fishing trip booked in AK and there was no way you were going to board a plane and disembark in AK without a negative test and proof of vaccination. So I got the 1st shot & no follow ups. If I hadn't had a trip to AK booked I would not have done it. I've had no side effects that I'm aware of. |
|
I did- health care worker and military. No side effects, was a nothing-burger. Only had covid once that I know of, Delta variant? Sore throat for a few days. Kids never got it, they were "sick" with me. Popped positive but no symptoms. I was in NYC. Covid was real, but quickly became a "bad flu year" kind of hassle the following winters. |

I did and not happy about it. At the time mother had just been diagnosed with leukoma and the oncologist laid the biggest guilt trip on all of us that were hesitant. All we heard was do you want to be the one responsible from bringing it into the house and exposing someone with no immune system??? My brother, SIL and my wife ended up having to take it to keep their jobs, so I got one shot and one booster, and they both made me sick as hell. Mother was not happy when she found out we took it and laid down the law that none of the grandkids were to take it - especially on her behalf period. No more discussions. We still ended up losing her to the cancer and I her more every day. |

Yes, forced kind of as I had to keep my business going like a 90,000 dollar job on a ship in Hawaii.. FWIW my wife and I never got the rona, both kids did but we didn't. And I wore the face diaper as little as possible. That smug fauchi POS makes me sick more then the rona would have. |

I took it. Nothing bad happened to me. When Iwas in Desrt Shield/ Storm. We got anthrax shots. The shot was never really vetted. I seen people get manhandled by the MP's, while the medic gave them the shot. Also got lots of other shots while in the Army.for those who didn't get the shot, good for you. It was your choice. But remember, your still not a pure blood because you did get vaccinated when you were kid. For those who did vaccinated, don't worry about those who think their better than evey one else. THERE IS A 6 FOOT HOLE WAITING FOR ALL OF US. |
|
I was coerced/forced into getting the shot. Failing to provide a copy of my vaccine record card would have lead to immediate dismissal from my employment. I waited until the last day possible, hoping to avoid it. They knew who had not submitted. No subsequent boosters, just the one shot. It was a live virus vaccine, not the mRNA vaccine. |
|
No. Fuck no man. Lots of reasons. The main one revolved around the fact that there is no vaccine for what this was and it should have been common knowledge from day 1. The whole of society psychological push, the military actions, and the manipulation of everyone including the president was friggin scary. |

Government minion here. They were threatening to fire us if we didn't get the jab. I filed for a religious exemption and ignored the deadline for getting the shot. Eventually nothing happened. Several of my coworkers caved like a house of cards on the deadline date. I can always find another job, but I can't get clean blood after the shot. |
|
I didn't, because I wasn't at high risk and I almost never get viral diseases, I've never had symptomatic flu. I had heart issues crop up right after I got Covid anyway. didn't even get sick, just had antibodies. They resolved themselves. I don't think the vaccine was "safe" but I think whether it was safer than getting Covid without it depends on the person. |

No and I had covid twice confirmed by a test and once before it was really a thing. First time was march of 2020 and I felt like shit. I NEVER get sick but I missed three days of work because of it. There wasn't really a covid test at that point so my local health center chalked it up to a flu. Second and third times I tested positive. Didn't feel as bad but knew something was wrong. I'm pretty sure I was the last person in my county to miss ten days of work because of a positive test. I tested positive on tuesday. Friday they went to 5 days out of work. So I called my local county health department and said "so I can go back to work monday right?" They said no you have to stay out until the next friday. I said no it's 5 days now. They said yes but you are suppoded to be out 10. I said let me get this right.....someone that got covid 4 days after I did will be back to work before I will? They said yes. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If that doesn't sum up covid I don't know what does.

Nope and I nearly lost my military and civilian careers because of it. I filed a religious exemption through both channels but neither were going to be approved. They didn't come right out and say it publicly but the Army was going to mass deny nearly all religious exemptions. One of my Soldiers, who is medical, was responsible for doing some of the counseling and paperwork associated with it and that's what the powers that be told them. The clot shot killed my dad. Caused a tumor that his body was controlling for years to turn into turbo cancer. He was dead 7 months after the diagnosis. But I guess that's all in my head..... |

| I decided I would rather get a little sick from taking the shot, instead of getting really bad sick from getting hit with that particular strain. At that time I knew people who died from it. Many people know somebody who died from it. |

OP's choices are retarded. Yeah, I sure did get it, as soon as it was available. By my choice. I work in urgent care and the ER and get coughed on by sick people all day. And I hospitalized dozens with COVID. And several died. Before the vaccine. I got boosters through about 2023. I didn't get a booster in 2024 or 2025. Because it's moderated and become much milder. ARF is a perfect microcosm of how people could not separate the concept of the effectiveness of the vaccine (which was actually pretty good for the severe, early forms of COVID) and their outrage at the threats and attempted force to make people get the vaccine. Both things can exist. |

Guess the forum retirement wasn't true. https://www.ar15.com/forums/General/COVID-Forum-Retirement/199-2646393/ The COVID Forum is officially being retired. Threads related to this topic may now be posted in General Discussion without fear of censorship or being black-holed. This forum will remain viewable for posterity's sake. This announcement brought to you by Anthony Fauci, Rochelle Walensky, Joe Biden, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus (and really all of the World Health Organization and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Oh, and let's not forget the CCP. Long live the Vaxxed! Disclaimer: No law enforcement agency within the U.K. was consulted prior to making this decision. |
| Pretty much forced to for several reason. Out of the country travel for family....had to have the shot. Wasn't going to not see my family. And my job forced me....and I wasn't going to give up a 25+year career over a stupid shot. Should I have? Maybe....but I'm still alive and kicking, and I'm sure glad I didn't throw my career down the toilet. I'm super pissed that it came to that......people need to be in prison. |

I had already had it twice when the Saudi government and the US military mandated we all get shots when I was in Riyadh. If I didn't get the shot, I would have to stay in my quarters, being charged for them as I would already be terminated, and could not fly home until after the end of the lock down, and would have to buy my own fare back to the Philippines, once they let foreigners back in (that took 2 and a half years before I could go home as it was). So, I took the shot to keep my job and not get charged for my being quarantined in my room for "two weeks". In Saudi, if you didn't have the Saudi government app that had your vaccine status, you couldn't go to a market, a restaurant, enter an airport or train station, etc. |

Quit work altogether and just piddled around my buddy's shop. Even without the vax drama everyone was in full on asshoe mode with social distancing and masks. Screw that noise. Very blessed to have a lot of like minded people around me who also weren't interested in the covid narrative as portrayed by our benevolent government and their experts. I felt no pressure and didn't lean on anyone either way. I also have friends who did take the vax. None have any lasting effects that I'm aware of. The vax cost me my relationship with my younger brother. That will always make me sad. He's deep down the liberal hole now. I feel like our relationship is permanently lost. Haven't spoken in about three years and live 30mi apart. |

Co worker's dad had bad dementia. For his father's health it was recommended that everyone get the J&J jabs offered at work. So he, mom and dad got them. The next day his mom had a bad stroke. Now within the last year he was diagnosed with stomach cancer while dealing with two disabled parents. Fortunately he is apparently going to be okay. But yeah, time for Fauci to hang. Funded wuhan flu, lied about it and did his best to take a suspect jab.... F! him! |
