Did you take the Covid vaccine? Yes, because of health reasons and scared of virus. Fuck No ! Yes, because I was forced and against my will. |

| I did because of work. Then the week after I took it they told us nobody has to take it anymore. Needless to say I was pissed. Anybody here that admits to it always gets shit on, but I don't really care. Between people I trusted telling me it was fine (friends who are medical professionals) and the possibility I wouldn't be able to work while supporting 6 people, I didn't see a way out. It was a fucked up situation and a fucked up time for this country. |

Nope. My family caught it early on when covid was actually hard. Not like the nose tingling allergy it is today. My doctor said we don't need the shot but very shortly afterward reversed course and said it was recommended for everybody period. When I asked him what the shot did, he said it prevented transmission of covid. He's not my doctor anymore. And of course we became dead to family and friends for years because we didn't do our part. It's strange, none of those people wear masks, get boosters, or social distance anymore... They actually act like nothing ever happened...

| Not no, but hell no! CEO of the company stated "Take it if you feel so inclined. But the company will not hold it against you if you don't " |
I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

Administrative discharge for failure to follow orders or any number of other reasons they wanted to come up with all for refusing to get the clot shot but you get fucked hard and dry reguardless. |

"Under duress" would be a more accurate statement for many- as already noted, lots of people had responsibilities and lacked the ability to simply get fired or quit. Just reading people's posts here over the years, there are a lot of posters who are in specialized roles and it would have been difficult if not impossible for them to simply quit without long term repercussions. The whole thing was a scam and everyone involved in perpetrating it should be in prison or worse, but we know that'll never happen. |

Nope. My line in the sand. No one was forcing me. Told my employer it wasn't happening as I'm no good to my family dead. I was ready to be fired over it. I remember looking at job sites at the time and there was a very clear split in the listings. Half required the vaccine, half declared "NO VAX REQUIRED!" My employer wound up backing down and I didn't have to explore the job market any further. Fuck the people that tried to force this madness on us! |

No I didn't. But I don't want to destroy those who did, either. I know most people are scared, dumb, and weak. Covid showed this to me in spades. A dumb person can be taught. A weak person can be made strong. A scared person can show bravery when they've been built up and believe in themselves. If I demean and mock a man for doing something than idk how I can do those other things. I don't have many answers and I doubt most will change, but I will try in my own way to help people open their own eyes and think for a change. |

It was a fucked up situation and a fucked up time for this country. My wife works with several neurosurgeon groups out of Sacramento. I was already against it based on lack of testing and then saw covid was only really killing the old, fat and weak, of which I am none. My wife asked their opinions and all said do not take it. These guys all take trauma call and the hospitals tried to force the vaccine on them and every group said no and they would walk and sue due to breach of contract. In the end none of them took it, the hospitals needed them more than the Doctors needed the hospitals. |

Yes as initial data indicated it was effective, work wanted us to have it and the USMC-R was requiring it. Haven't bothered with boosters as they appear pointless. Scared seems like a bit of miscategorization. I was more indifferent and dissmissive of the massive side effect claims coming from the right. |

My wife and I got vaccinated because our niece was pregnant with her first child and wanted us to get it if we wanted to see the baby after he was born. She is a nurse practitioner (with a doctorate) and was "trusting the science." I didn't want to. I was willing to wait to see the kid until everything blew over, but my wife was not to be dissuaded. |
Life is about choices.
If you make a mistake once, it's a mistake.
You make the same mistake again, that's a choice.

I remember a California member here that gladly fired people at his and his wife’s business for not jabbing. The science was settled for him. You know…. DOCTORS were recommending it! But I remember when it first appeared that many drs recommended NOT taking it But they got shut down quick I and mine decided not to |

My wife had covid three times. I sat next to her on the couch and snuggled with her when she was feeling bad. I slept next to her in the bed and snuggled with her when she was feeling bad. On her third time I finally caught it. It was sort of like a mild sinus infection. Mild headache and throat irritation, some coughing, etc. for a couple days and it was gone. Who needs a shot for something like that? |
How you live your life is important. Just be sure the memory of how you died doesn't overshadow the tales of how you lived your life.

Was highly encouraged by wife's family (well, really just one member) because my wife is considered immunocompromised/at high risk. I reluctantly got Pfizer very early on and had pretty bad adverse muscular reactions to it short term, never had any follow-ups/boosters. She didn't have any side effects. The family overreaction was due to the flu putting her in the hospital for a week about 8 years ago and she required a blood transfusion due to her hemoglobin levels tanking. I still ended up getting covid twice and she had a very mild case (go figure). I'm still pissed about allowing myself to be pressured into a bad decision. My parents both had pretty bad reactions to it as well. I'm pretty sure it was the catalyst behind my mom's arrythmia. She just had her 3rd ablation in February that kinda worked. She'll probably be on rhythm meds the rest of her life. |
| My wife was a hospice nurse at the time and nearly lost her job because she refused to take the clot shot. She met with a pastor and he helped her write a religious exemption. They accepted it with the stipulation that she gown up, glove up and mask up in patients' homes. |

Nope. My husband and I were both staunchly against it and held the line. Both of our employers mandated it, but we refused. Employers backed down. We remain vax free. We’d have sold everything and lived out of an RV doing odd jobs before taking that mess. It was also what inspired me to go back to school for my NP certification. Aesthetics pays well and you can run your own shop. |

My sister got the shot and lost her ability to walk for 3 months. Blinding migraines and lost her job because she simply couldn't work. My aunts stepdaughter died 3 days after with a heart attack. She was 45. My friends fiance got it to visit people in the hospital. She said, "I don't feel very good," and died right there from a massive heart attack. 2 weeks after the shot. She was 25. I know more. It might be in their heads, like, ya know, an aneurysm, but people dying from it and injured is real. |

It's been shown that some batches had more DNA contamination than others; I can't recall the name of the site where you can track the different lot numbers but there are definitely signs that some were much worse for people than others. If all of those people live in close proximity it's possible they got the same lot number or close. |
