I've been looking for a "not dress, not work" piece for a year or so. I stumbled upon this and being 60% off I pulled the trigger. There have been several days where I'm in between watches (how is that even a thing) and I wanted something different on me. My poor Protrek took another dive off a wing-tip and my "office day" Sea Urchin is not liking being on the flightline

Any opinions of this piece?

It'll be here Thursday.

These have flat non textured dials. They did several variants for lowercase and united arrows. I really wanted the STBR011 but united arrows won’t sell em to the US.

Has the 62mas vibe.

Here's the whole lineup - all limited to 2000 pieces I believe, got mine off ebay for $400 shipped and its already on its way.

If I do like it I'm going to splurge and find a way to get the green bezel one and the 62mas one.

Didn’t need it but... Autos are pissing me off. Dropped my new SKX about 8” onto a wooden dresser and it went from -1.5sec/day to over +100 with a 4.5m/s beat error.

But it might be a little shorter lug 2 lug. The case finish on the Avalon is excellent though.

Not sure yet. Read lots of articles about these before pulling the trigger though. They are branded and sold by commercial/recreational dive shops in the EU. They get Divex, Cressi Sub, Aqua Lung, etc labels on them. Supposed to be built like a tank. They even have some 1000m models with helium relief valves on them for under $150. They've been selling these for a couple decades and folks have had them that long with no complaints. If the movement goes t/u, they are like $15 to replace.
