A few months ago, I sold this Speedmaster and I have been second guessing myself ever since. I finally broke down and ordered another one. It should be here in a few days.

I keep thinking I want a Speedmaster Moonwatch but I always seem to find something else that has more style.
The Moonwatch has a cool history but that dial is just too generic for me (and that cock and balls at 12 o'clock...).

I wasn't sure about it either the first time as I wear divers normally, but it grew on me. Especially on the brown leather.

Which one did you get? I just received my 311.30.42.30.01.005 last week and it's my first Speedy. Absolutely love it--already been eyeing up the Apollo XI 45th Anniversary.

My first was the same one you have, but this time I got the black leather strap version as it was considerably cheaper. I plan to wear it on brown leather anyway.

so jomashop is GTG on Omegas?

are their watches covered under factory warranty and are they serviceable at Omega's repair centers?

No factory warranty. The in-house Joma warranty is worthless.
Of course Omega will service the watch, but you'll likely have to pay for it out of pocket.
Only buy from a gray market dealer like Joma if the savings are equal to or greater than a full service (that way you at least break even in the unlikely event that your watch needs factory attention within what would normally be the warranty period).

This will be my third Omega from them. All of them are legit with serial numbers, etc. You just don't get a factory warranty.

But those Hesalite crystals sure are cool when they're not scratched.
I love the depth and warmth the Hesa/Plexi/acrylic crystals have, especially the big domed diver crystals.
