sorry for crappy potato pics. it's all I got and it's a 5 year old phone and I think I accidently used an effect in the second pic but too much effort to take a new one to upload.

Looks like it turned out well.  Was that paint removed by solvent or something more involved?

Thanks!  The paint was pretty thick like it was baked on enamel or powder coat like so i didn't think a solvent would do anything.  I used really fine sand paper and just went to town.  I bought the watch used for $170 and the bezel already had a few scratched up spots so i really didn't have anything to lose by trying it. I got the idea from someone on watchuseek and they used sand paper and it turned out well so i figured it was the proper course of action.
