Ugly as sin but actually kind of neat! If you could hide the tools on the underside of the bracelet it'd be really James Bondish.
ETA: It's not quite so ugly if you look at the bracelet rather than the watch. As a watchband the thing is hideous, but I've seen worse bracelets for sure. |

Disclaimer; By posting info about a LEATHERMAN product above I am in no way endorsing the product. I can't keep up with all the different companies on the hate list but I know Leatherman is on it. I had to look it up and found a thread here from 4/2008 that explains the hate is based on the president of the company "supported Gore or Kerry or maybe both". Ok... http://www.ar15.com/archive/topic.html?b=1&f=5&t=694844 I like the idea of the bracelet, not sure if I would want to own one. I might adapt another watch to the bracelet. I could have a place in my watch collection for one. I haven't thought about it much yet. I do like to have "tools" with me and this is a handy way to carry a few more. I just posted the info here for discussion. Sorry if it can't be disccused since it's made by Leatherman. Actually it doesn't look all that bad in this pic. ![]() |

At SHOT Show, I half jokingly said they need to make it to adapt to regular spring bars (e.g. Rolex Sub) and the representative simply replied, that's the next evolution for the Tread.
So I'm not sure if that means they're actually going to do it, or even considering it. |
