It is a high end jeweler in Europe that has a small private label. Won't find many, at least on this side of the pond. Topper had it pre-owned select and I fell in love with it and bought it before somebody else snatched it up. Might start here. |

Recently threw it on a Nato just cus. Honestly its just a "Seiko mod". That being said I did only use oem Seiko factory parts to build it(aside from the lumed date wheel). No aliX/cheap stuff. Essentially my dream Seiko if I had run of the factory floor for a day or so. The concept was if Seiko were to have built their version of a BB58/Sub using only their own factory available parts.(ik 62 mas, but i prefer dots to rectangles/squares) Iirc: -Case, caseback, crown, stem, bezel, bezel insert, springs+gaskets, bracelet+clasp, and saphire all from an HBC011 -SPB185 dial -Gene Krantz minute hand, Alpinist hour hand, SKX173 seconds hand -nh35 movement with a non OEM lumed date wheel |

I sold my 928 and was looking at 997s and 991s, but after driving this car, I fell in love with this 987.1 Not nearly as powerful as your 996 but the mid engine feel with a manual transmission of the 987 is just perfect for me.  |
