I need a little help here. I recently purchased an itaste vtr. It works, but I don't ever feel satisfied when using it, and wind up going right back to my Marlboros. I have a real desire to quit, but I need to get something that works a little better for me. I smoke cigarettes quickly, with big hits that I feel in my throat.
If any of you more experienced vapers could look at this site: KOV That's my local B&M shop. I purchased my VTR there, but here's what I'm looking for: something a little less heavy than the vtr, and more pocketable. Something that hits harder. I don't want to have to mess with the thing too much, I want to fill it in the morning, pop in a battery (and have a spare with me), and go. Does anything on that site seem like it'd fit the bill? My current juice is a 50/50 18mg mix. I know that I need to look into a higher PG percentage to increase throat hit, but I'm tired of lugging around this VTR. Something that uses the same battery would be great, and if I could use the iclear 30s, that'd be an added perk. Thanks a ton, I really need to get something figured out here. If nothing on that site looks decent, can you help me figure out what to buy? I'm a little light on funds currently, but I could scrape together $70 or so for now. Please explain things, since I have no idea what most of the abbreviations you all use mean.
Thanks again! -Parke1 |

The pg will not increase throat hit, the nicotine content does. Pg just makes more vapor. The vtr is just the power source, so changing it won't make a tin of difference either. The improvement you are seeking is a better tank like the kayfun lite + but then you need to get into building it.
My advice, get the kayfun, try your current juice with it, and if need be, move to a higher nicotine level. |

PG has always been associated with throat hit, but I agree, upping the nicotine is what I would do to get a stronger throat hit. And I also agree with the Kayfun recommendation. They hit harder than most tanks. Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

That is what I started with and it worked. And while I have to agree on the Kayfun recommendation, it is an RBA (Rebuildable Atomizer), meaning you have to make your own coil and wick. You might want to look at an Aspire Nautilus. I have never used one since I have been rebuilding for a while now but as far as tanks go with factory made and replaceable coils (all you have to do is screw a new one in) these have received great reviews. There was a thread here about them awhile ago. I can't find it right now but NY Shooter should be able to help you out with that. |

Hmm... interesting. I am considering looking in to getting a different battery holder, though, just since the vtr weighs so much. It's fine for around the house, but it's a bit much to carry around all day at work.
So basically I should start with maybe upping to the 24 mg juice, and then if that doesn't cut it, look in to getting a kayfun or the aspire nautilus, right? And if I decide top get a lighter battery holder, I should stick with a variable voltage model? Thanks for the help everyone! -Parke1 |

If that is going to be a problem then get the nautilus. If you want a lighter battery holder (better known as a MOD) google EGO V V3 Mega or the Innokin Itaste VV. Those are the smallest with good performance. |
