So this year our blackberry's are growing like crazy....so far I've got close to 10 gallons of blackberry's, and I'm still picking close to a gallon bag full every day or two.

Can someone walk me through the basics of what equipment and ingredients I need to make a decent fruit wine out of all of these blackberry's I have? I know I'll need a 6 gallon bucket, probably a 5 gallon carboy, some yeast, an air lock or two, a hydrometer.....and I'm sure a lot of other stuff. I've read in a few books that adding some bananas to the fruit mix will help to give the wine more body? Any truth to that?

Can any of you home wine makers give me some tips?

Any help would be great!!
