Your link is super awesome and fantastic. I'm sensing some sarcasm also your Google-fu is weak http://www.onederbrew.com |

Seen it but have no experience. Same concept as conical fermenters from people like Bilichmann, (I have one for full disclosure.) Conicals are great to brew with, makes it a lot easier, no transferring into secondary, can pull samples off easy and clearing trub is easy-peasy.
Downside is there expensive....how much is this "Onedeer brew." |

$159 looks neat http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=tQLXuJ2EE9s Not bad but being plastic it's prone to staining and taking on Flavors over time. That said, it's about a third less than Blichmann's conical but you do get Stainless and likely longer use out of it. As I've said, I've seen in advertised out of Zymergy but that's it. |

I'd probably not want to throw a few hundred bucks away on a plastic conical. I'd just save a bit longer and get the real deal in stainless. |

I have heard they swell with fermentation and are scary to look at. Never heard of one blowing but it would be epic if it did.
Some on Homebrewtalk said that the molding on the inside was rough done and made infection easier as certain parts were hard to clean. Never used one so this is all hearsay |

Here's a link to a thread on Homebrew Talk about the device:
http://www.homebrewtalk.com/f11/onederbrew-anyone-try-361352/ Pay more attention to the posts by folks that have one and the builder himself. There is a fair amount of noise but some good signal and the builder does seem to respond to suggestions. That's all I have on the subject having never seen one in person let alone use one. |

Best choice is still the glass carboy with a cheap bubbler on top. http://www.craigandheather.net/images/beer/carboy.jpg Negative Ghost Rider.... Use one of these and you'll never go back....

I saw them in person at the 2012 NHC.
They have a pressure release that will let go when it reaches 20 PSI. It is a little rubber plug in the top. From what I could tell, the top was just a black 5 gallon bucket, and the special part was the conical portion. ETA: For those not with the fundage to get a Blichmann conical, a smaller 7.5G/30l keg works great. |
| I'm at 4+ months out on a 50 gallon ss uni-fermenter from Glacier Tanks. Supposedly it will be any day now. Anybody know of any producers in the states that are reasonably priced and not such a long wait? I want to order 2 more, but don't want to wait 5 months. |
