I picked up 4 bottles of 2007 Davinci Chianti Riserva (they were $10 off, closeout) from Krogers.

Anyway, Im really looking forward to this wine and want to know if anyone else has had the chance to experience it. From what I can tell 2007 was a superb year for chianti, so I am pretty excited.

Not too good the first go around.

Typically, a chianti in this price range (especially a good year) would be very good. Definitely a do not buy, but I will wait for final judgment call after round 2.

I have had a much lesser (supposedly) bottle taste far better
