I got this recipe for homemade Teriyaki sauce off the interwebz the other day and though I would share it with you guys, its awesome (if you like that kind of thing) I fix mine with chicken tenders and vegetables, details below
2 tablespoon Cornstarch 2 tablespoon Water 1 cup Sugar 1 cup Soy Sauce 1/2 cup Cider Vinegar 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon Black Pepper 1/2 teaspoon Ground Ginger Add all of the above ingredients into a sauce pan and bring to a boil, stirring until thick (about 1-2min after coming to a boil) <cover and set to the side> Preheat oven to 425* Take your choice of chicken (tenders, breast, thighs, ect.) and line a appropriately sized baking dish for the chicken and line with foil (to make cleanup easier) Place chicken in the pan where the sides are touching, and spoon the sauce generously over the meat and turn to coat evenly Bake for 30min, turn the chicken and bake for 30 more Prepare a bag of broccoli, cauliflower, and sliced carrots Place chicken on the vegetables and coat with the sauce Enjoy! |
