I've ordered a 6 qt stainless steel pressure cooker, and it is on its way. I found a really decent site with pressure cooker information and recipes by "Miss Vickie"... but since there is a wealth of knowledge at AR15, I thought I would ask for your favorite pressure cooker recipes. Got any?

My apologies if there was already a thread about this... I tried to search and the search feature just doesn't ever work for me, newbie just-a-lowly-member that I am.

By the way, if interested, here are some recipes from Miss Vickie:  http://missvickie.com/recipes/recipeframe.html

My fav recipe for a pressure cooker.

Put 2 inches of water in pressure cooker. Raise heat, blow off all oxygen in cooker by venting steam.

After the venting is over, place weight over steam port.

Allow pressure to rise to 10 lbs if under 1000 ft elevation.

If over 1000 ft, use 11 pounds.

After 10 minutes at 11 pounds, turn off heat

allow steam to be completely gone from cooker and make sure pressure is at 0 pounds

remove lid, remove 8 ounces of the boiling water and put in a cup.

Insert 1 tea bag and allow to steep for 3 minutes, and sugar and lemon to taste.
