We hold an annual open house across all lodges in the state on the first Saturday in May. Today broke all records. 8500 people came through our main building in SLC in four hours. It was crazy. Great questions about the building, Freemasonry and the appendant bodies. A few kooks, but nothing too unusual. I'm exhausted, my back, legs and feet are sore but it was great to have that many people interested in some part of what we are.
We do ask those attending to bring a non-perishable food time as well for donation. We wheeled down half a dozen full 55 gallons drums of food for the local food bank. |

GLOT mandated our open house this year to be on 5/27 from 1000-1400
I'm sure we will get zero visitors.... I personally think it's asinine to have an open house on one of the most traveled weekends of the year. |
