I was raised to the Sublime Degree of Master Mason after the Chitlin Degree at Orion #40.
I went through with one other Brother, after going first I had the privilege of watching the entire Degree just moments after living it. It was utterly unforgeable. The team that put it on was great! |

Congratulations! I've got to ask. What is the Chitin Degree? Whew. I'm glad someone asked! chitin: noun, a fibrous substance consisting of polysaccharides and forming the major constituent in the exoskeleton of arthropods and the cell walls of fungi. I'm guessing it was some auto-correct typo. If so, I still cannot guess what the word was meant to be. |

this was the 37th annual Chitlin Degree hosted by Orion #40 in Chipley Fl.
I really can't go in to what happens, how or why but surfice it to say a great time was had by all! the working tools are a sight to behold. sorry about the auto correct... and the correction really dosen't make it any better. |

It sounds akin to the Loyal Order of Belly Masons. I love the silly, fun degrees. Especially when food is involved. |
